Anyone can buy from Silver Standard. Our clients consist of Investors, Collectors, Dealers and Insurance Company. Whether you want to purchase large quantities or individual items, we will always try our best to fulfill all of your needs.


How to purchase precious metal?

Please call Customer Services Hotline at (852) 2363 8818 OR visit Silver Standard in person for gold bar & gold medal reference quote and availability.
Silver Standard Gold Bars & Gold Medals can be purchased by visiting Silver Standard Headquarters during the designated business hours.


Is there a fee for bank wires?

There is no fee charged by Silver Standard for paying by wire, however, any fees charged by banks are the customer’s responsibility. To avoid delays, please call or email info@SilverStandard.com.hk as soon as any bank transfer is made.


Can I purchase precious metal if I did not hold any account at Silver Standard?

YES, if you come to our shop and do the purchase face-to-face.

If you want to purchase from our website and do not hold any account, Please call our customer service hotline to check the stock first. All retail gold bars are not reserved.


How do I open an account?

Fill the account opening form here and send a copy of your ID to  info@SilverStandard.com.hk Or You may visit our website open an account.


Can I have the gold bar at once after successful transaction?

Client can get the gold bars after successful transaction if there is sufficient inventory.


Does it cost anything to open an account with Silver Standard?

No, opening an account is free of charge.


Can I pick up my order from Silver Standard?

Yes you can. When you check out, you will have the option to pick up your order from our office. You have 10 business days to collect your order. After which, you will be charged $50 HKD per day for late a pick-up.


Do you accept credit cards?

No, we do not accept credit cards currently.


How quickly will you need my payment?

Once the deposit is paid and a price is locked in, the payment will need to be received within three business days. Silver Standard reserves the right to cancel orders that do not meet this requirement. Due to the volatility of precious metal prices, we recommend completing your payment the same day your order is placed to be sure your payment is received on time. Silver Standard reserves the right of final decision.


Do you have quantity discounts?

Our prices have already been calculated for high volume wholesale orders and we have discount tiers for most products.


Do you have a holding period for Bank Cheques and Bank Drafts?

Yes, we will not release your order till 3 business days after finds have cleared. This is to reduce Silver Standard’s risk of potential fraudulent activity.



Do you buy back coins or bullion?

Yes we do! Please refer to our buy back page for live prices. If your product is not listed on our buyback page please contact us for a quote. Please note that our buyback prices listed on the website are only for products sold by us and in the same condition. Products sold elsewhere or damaged/marked coins will be bought back at a different rate, determined when the coins are inspected.


What is the procedure to sell back products bought elsewhere?

Please email us at info@SilverStandard.com.hk with photos and details of the products and we will give you an indication of price.


Is it possible to sell Silver Standard’s Product back elsewhere?

YES. We are a credible company which  our coins and bars ship fresh from London Bullion Market Association (LBMA) accredited refineries. So, you could sell our product back elsewhere easily.


How will I be paid?

Payments for buybacks will be made by cheque or by bank transfer.

What currencies do you accept?

We accept Hong Kong Dollars (HKD), Renminbi (RMB) and US Dollars (USD) in making a cash transaction in our store.


Do you accept cryptocurrency?

We only accept Tether (USDT).


Do you accept third party payments?

No. Any third party payments will be denied. The name of remittance has to match with your Silver Standard account.


Apart from shipping and the listed price, are there any additional fees?

We do not charge any broker or commission fees.


Do you accept Cheques for payment?

We do accept Hong Kong Bank Cheques or bank drafts.

For Hong Kong Customers:

• Local delivery is available at a flat rate HK$80 for orders below HK$30,000 .
• For orders above HK$30,000 will require to be picked up in our showroom or delivered by Armed Guard Services at a flat rate HK$900.
The limit may vary on currency rates of exchange in effect at the time of order, Silver Standard reserves the right of final decision.


Is my shipment insured?

All shipments sent by Silver Standard are insured, however, orders are only covered while in transit. Coverage is terminated upon arrival of the package (marked as delivered or notice of signature from carrier).


What is your return policy on shipped orders?

If your products are not of a satisfactory condition, please contact us and bring the products to our showroom for inspection. Any returns will need to be made within 7 days of receiving your shipment.


Can I track my shipment?

Yes, you will be given a tracking number by email once your order has been shipped.



Currently, we didn’t provide any service of international collectible shipping.

How do I know that my products are genuine?

Silver Standard is a direct distributor for most of the major mints around the world, most of our products are sourced directly from these mint and are brand new in mint packaging. For any products which we have sourced through our network of dealers, each item goes through detailed inspections and tests to ensure the highest quality and authentication.


What are your office opening hours?

Our office hour on Monday to Friday 10am to 6pm by appointment. Please make an appointment by clicking HERE.


Do I need to make an appointment?

Due to our strict security protocols it would be ideal to organize an appointment prior to arrival. Please ensure you bring photo identification.


Do I have to work with the same Trader?

We love for our traders to build a one-on-one relationship with our customers; however, every trader in the office is capable of helping any of our customers.


Do you charge sales tax on coins?

No, there is no sales tax charged on coins


Do you report my transactions?

We will not disclose your personally identifiable information to law enforcement, other government officials, or third parties without a court order, subpoena, court order or similar legal procedure, except when we believe in good faith that the disclosed information is necessary to prevent financial loss, report suspected illegal activity or as required by law.


What if I want to return my gold or silver?

Because of market fluctuations in both gold and silver markets there will be NO returns on gold or silver. All bullion sales are final! For more information regarding our return policy, please view our policy page. We do offer a buy back service. Please refer to the buy back page on our website.
